A motorcyclist was killed in a wreck in Scott County Friday morning, according to Robert Tackett with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened on Cynthiana Road, according to Scott County Coroner Mark Sutton. The motorcyclist was traveling inbound towards Georgetown when the wreck occurred. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

The victim was a 43-year-old man, Sutton said. His identity will be released after family members are notified.

Foggy conditions were a factor in the wreck, Tackett said. No other details about the crash were immediately available.
