A man died in a car crash Sunday evening on Interstate 75 in Georgetown, the Scott County coroner said.

Wesley Keith Richie, 63, of Lexington, died near the 124-mile marker on I-75 North on Sunday night. Coroner Mark Sutton said it was a single-car crash, and investigators think Richie was speeding when he drove off the road and rolled the car.

Richie was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. No other cars or people were involved.

An autopsy is being performed, with results expected in the next several weeks, Sutton said.
