35-year-old man killed in workplace accident in Central Kentucky

A 35-year-old man died in a workplace accident in Scott County Tuesday, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened in the 3000 block of Josephine Road in Sadieville. Scott County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Robert Tackett said the man was working with heavy equipment while clearing trees and was injured by machinery.
The man was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he later died. Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn wasn’t immediately available to provide the identity of the man or comment further on the incident.
