Man charged with murder in connection with fatal shooting outside bar

A Lexington man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting outside a bar on East Second Street.

Mako L. Greer, 40, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of Steven Earl Robinson outside the Old School bar earlier this month.

Lexington police said the two men had been involved in an ongoing dispute.

Greer is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.

Robinson, 35, was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound in the early hours of Aug. 12. He died at a local hospital.
