Five charged with murder in two Frankfort shootings

Five people been arrested in connection with last month's fatal shootings of two Frankfort men.

The Frankfort Police Department said 25-year-old Juanita Durrum, 18-year-old Bricelyn Leake, 23-year-old Morgan Crutchfield, 28-year-old Rakiethieus Wesley and Leroy Love have all been charged with murder and robbery following the shooting that occurred June 26 in Frankfort.

Love was apprehended Friday afternoon and was charged with two counts of murder in addition to the robbery. Wesley has been charged for an additional, unrelated robbery that occurred about a month ago.

Police said at least one man allegedly entered the home and robbed and killed 24-year-old Dustin Wayne Johnson and 22-year-old Jared Miles Moore. Both men are from Frankfort.

Police initially believed there were two suspects and two cars involved in the crime. The department said they believed they had all the primary actors in the murder, but there could be additional arrests, and at least two will receive additional charges in connection to other crimes over the next two weeks.

The suspects are in the process of being booked into the Franklin County Regional Jail.
