Woman captures several videos of her husband raping a child, Kentucky police say
A Kentucky husband and wife were arrested Wednesday after being accused of sexually abusing a minor and recording it, according to Kentucky State Police.
State police’s investigation began after it received a call from a high school in Smithfield regarding possible sexual abuse of a juvenile, according to a press release.
Paxton L. Faulkner Yates, 31, and Christina L. Faulkner Yates, 39, of Hampton, were interviewed as a result of the investigation, state police said.
The husband admitted to “sexual contact” with the juvenile on multiple occasions, according to state police. He also admitted to photographing and videoing the acts, police say.
Christina Faulkner Yates said her husband committed sex acts with the child multiple times and admitted to taking photos and videoing the encounters, according to state police. After recording the acts, she sent the photos and videos to her husband electronically, state police said.
It’s not clear how the child knows the husband and wife.
Paxton Faulkner Yates was charged with two counts of forcible compulsion of a minor, one count of child porn possession and two counts of third-degree rape.
Christina Faulkner Yates was also charged with two counts of forcible compulsion of a minor, one count of use of a minor in a sexual performance, one count of child porn possession and one count of child porn distribution, according to jail records.
They have each been lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
