Police: Suspect in Lexington homicide near Transylvania turns himself in a week later
A man wanted in a March 6 homicide near Transylvania University has turned himself in, the Lexington Police Department announced Friday.
Seantel Wilone Watson, 32, was taken into custody at police headquarters downtown.. He was charged with murder in the death of Larry Steven Rose Jr., 44, a Lexington resident.
The department had announced Monday that an arrest warrant for Watson had been issued.
The homicide happened in the 400 block of Smith Street on March 6. A call of shots fired came in about 3:15 p.m, and Rose was pronounced dead about 3:50 p.m.
