Former Ky. constable, firefighter guilty of making explicit video of teen in ambulance
A former Harrison County constable accused of taking explicit images of a 17-year-old in the back of an ambulance has been convicted on multiple charges in federal court.
William Michael Fields Jr., 37, was convicted Tuesday on two counts of using a minor to make explicit images, according to federal court records. He is a former Harrison County Constable and Paris Fire Department firefighter.
At a previous detention hearing, a detective testified that Fields met the victim through a “Police Explorers” program, according to court records.
Fields used the same minor to produce five explicit videos and two images at the Emergency Medical Training Facility in Bourbon County in March of 2019, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
He was indicted in October of 2019.
Fields will be sentenced on Sept. 4. He faces a minimum of 15 years and as many as 60 years in prison.
Fields also faces state counts of third-degree rape and other charges out of Bourbon and Harrison counties, according to court records. Those charges involved the same victim as the one from the federal charges, according to a federal detention order filed in the case.
