The sister of a Robertson County woman accused of killing and dismembering their mother blames a third sibling — a brother — for the mother’s death.

The accusation was made by Telby Fields, the 31-year-old daughter of Trudy Fields, in a request for a temporary restraining order against her brother, Truitt Fields.

Telby Fields accused the brother of influencing the daughter who was charged with killing their mother and cooking several of her body parts.

In the restraining order, filed Oct. 11 and granted by a Robertson County judge, Telby Fields claims her 42-year-old brother, a California resident, is a threat to her and others.

“When my body is found, Truitt Fields murdered me,” the petition reads.

The restraining order was filed two days after the siblings’ mother — Trudy Fields — was found dead behind her home in rural Robertson County. She had been dismembered, and her body parts were found in several places on the property, including in the oven.

Trudy Fields’ other daughter, 32-year-old Mount Olivet resident Torilena Fields, was quickly charged with abuse of a corpse, and a few days later was charged with murder.

But in the restraining order, called an emergency protective order, Telby Fields blames her brother for the death. She accuses him of threatening to kill her — Telby Fields — to claim his “birth right” as the family’s first-born child.

“Please give me this order,” Telby Fields wrote. “Without it, I am next. ... Please help save not just my life, but countless future victims.”

Truitt Fields was served the protection order on Oct. 15 by police in Calipatria, California, a small city about 140 miles east of San Diego.

Calipatria Police Chief Cheryl Fowler was not immediately available for comment Tuesday morning.

Truitt Fields was ordered to surrender any guns he had as a result of the restraining order. He has a court appearance scheduled Oct. 29 in Robertson County.

Neither Telby Fields nor Truitt Fields had a lawyer listed in court records. Torilena Fields’ lawyer, Chris Tracy, declined to comment.
