Two inmates who escaped from Lexington prison have been arrested
Two inmates who escaped from Blackburn Correctional Complex Nov. 3 have been apprehended.
Adam Ball was arrested Friday by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, according to the Fayette County Detention Center’s website.
Ball, 38, of Russell Springs is facing a charge of second-degree escape, Fayette District Court records show. He is to be arraigned Tuesday.
Bradley Cornwell, 40, of Georgetown, left the prison Sunday in a water truck, Kentucky State Police said.
State police announced Cornwell was apprehended on Nov. 10. Cornwell is charged with second-degree escape and fleeing police, according to online jail records. He is being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center.
Ball was serving a 14-year prison sentence for charges of complicity to theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment and criminal mischief, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
Cornwell was serving a 10-year prison sentence for charges of possession of a controlled substance, bail jumping, fleeing/evading police, criminal mischief and wanton endangerment, according to the corrections department.
