Lexington police search for two suspects in Chinoe Road homicide

Lexington police are searching for a man and woman they say are suspects in a recent homicide.

Jeremiah Mitchell and Alexis Compton are wanted in connection with the Nov. 30 shooting death of Gregory Williams on Chinoe Road.

Mitchell is wanted for charges of murder, four counts of wanton endangerment and criminal mischief. He also has warrants for failure to appear and violating the conditions of his release.

Compton is wanted for complicity in murder.

Officers were dispatched around 6:45 p.m. Nov. 30 to the 1000 block of Chinoe Road for a shooting. Williams was found with a gunshot wound, and he died later at a hospital.
