A Thursday campus prayer service and memorial mass is set for the student who died Monday after he was found unresponsive at a University of Kentucky fraternity house.

The prayer service for Thomas Lofton Hazelwood, 18, is at 6 p.m. followed by a 7:30 p.m. mass at the Catholic Newman Center on Rose Lane at UK, according to post on the center’s Facebook page.

“All are welcome to pray with us in honor of Lofton,” the post said.

Hazelwood died, of suspected alcohol toxicity, at the hospital after being found unresponsive at the FarmHouse fraternity. UK officials have suspended fraternity activities and launched two investigations into the death.

A prayer vigil for Hazelwood was also held at the center Tuesday night.
