Graduating seniors and families will receive details and specific instructions from their school.

Fayette Superintendent Demetrus Liggins announced graduation dates during the Board of Education’s Thursday meeting.

Liggins also at the meeting announced that at the district was tentatively looking at the last day of school being in the first week of June. However, a news release from FCPS later Thursday said “ the official last day of classes for students is still pending as district leaders wait to make sure the wintry weather is really over. “

The district has had to use several snow days and nontraditional instruction days this year due to winter weather. However, Liggins said in a meeting earlier this month that only four days needed to be made up.
