Bedbugs found at University of Kentucky library

The University of Kentucky has found bedbugs in two locations within a week.

This time the bedbugs — two dead, one living — were found at a computer kiosk at the William T. Young Library.

The bugs, which are oval and reddish-brown, were discovered at the same time the university was eradicating bedbugs found in a student center lounge on Friday.

The student center bugs were eradicated with heat. A chemical treatment was used at the library, according to UK spokesman Gail Hairston.

Hairston said UK janitors are being trained to spot bedbugs.
