Porn video shot in California public library sparks outcry. ‘Stick to the hotels’
An online porn video partly shot inside an open public library in Santa Monica, California, has some residents seeing red, KNBC reports.
“God forbid, a child walked in the library and walked right in on the middle of it. That’s my biggest concern,” said Janet McLaughlin, KCBS reported. “Children don’t need to be exposed to this. If you want to do porn, stick to the hotels.”
The video, initially posted to PornHub, reportedly features 19-year-old adult film actress Ellie Eilish exposing herself as she walks around outside the Ocean Park branch library, The Santa Monica Daily Press reported.
Eilish then enters the library while it is open to the public and further exposes herself before engaging in sex acts with a man whose face is not shown, according to the publication.
“That is wrong, it is completely wrong,” said resident Felipe Herrador, KNBC reported. “It’s a public place, a library where there are children. How will the city or people allow that?”
The video, posted three weeks ago, has since been taken down, The Santa Monica Daily Press reported. City leaders say police are investigating the incident.
“This video is deeply disturbing,” says a statement by the city, KNBC reported. “Lewd acts in the public library are a violation of library rules and against the law. Staff did not have knowledge of the incident when it took place.”
According to her IMDB page, Eilish, who also goes by the name Elly Idol, has 8 listed credits for adult film videos.
