McDonald’s is reimagining its iconic Happy Meal to cater to the kid in every adult.

The new Cactus Plant Flea Market Box is a grown-up twist on the nostalgic meal box and set to launch in collaboration with the streetwear brand of the same name, McDonald’s announced in a news release Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The Happy Meal-style box will be available in-store or in the drive-thru at participating restaurants for a limited time starting Monday, Oct. 3, and comes with a collectible figurine, the company said. Fans can also order the “adult” offering on the McDonald’s app or by delivery, while supplies last.

“We’re taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald’s experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that’s hyper-relevant for our adult fans,” Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer for McDonald’s USA, said in a statement. “ With menu favorites ... at the center of this collab, this is another way we’re reigniting a new generation’s love for our food and the brand.”

The Cactus Plant Flea Market box comes with customers’ choice of a Big Mac or 10-piece chicken McNuggets, plus fries and a drink. Inside, fans will also find one of four figurines, including classic McDonald’s characters Grimace, the Hamburglar and Birdie.

The characters look a bit different, however, and bear more resemblance to Cactus Buddy — the four-eyed, smiling mascot for Cactus Plant Flea Market.

The box has also been redesigned in the brand’s “signature style,” alongside McDonald’s Golden Arches, according to the release.

McClatchy News reached out to Cactus Plant Flea Market for comment on Tuesday, Sept. 27, and was awaiting a response.
