“Built in 1886-87 for German native Jacob Sonnentheil this home was most likely designed by prominent Galveston architect Nicholas J. Clayton,” the listing on Zillow.com says. “Sonnentheil operated a wholesale dry goods store on The Strand in Galveston. The Sonnentheil house displays influences of Eastlake, Gothic, and Italianate architectural styling.”

While the outside draws in curious folks with its beauty, the inside is a testament to classic decor throughout its three bedrooms and six bathrooms. Features, per the listing, include:

  • Five fireplaces

  • Original stained glass windows
