A lottery player is in for a huge windfall after hitting the jackpot in Florida.

The player bought a Fantasy 5 game ticket that matched all the numbers picked in the Oct. 14 evening drawing, making it worth more than $106,000, the Florida Lottery wrote on its website and in a news release.

The winning numbers: 9-10-15-21-27.

So, where was the lucky ticket sold? It came from the Publix grocery store on Curlew Road in Dunedin, a roughly 25-mile drive northwest from Tampa, according to drawing results.

Tickets for the Fantasy 5 game start at $1. But the player won much more than that, scoring a prize that totaled $106,274.20.

The Florida Lottery on its website didn’t say whether the lucky supermarket shopper had claimed their prize. Fantasy 5 winners have about six months to cash in, according to game rules.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
