It all comes down to this: Vote now to crown Kentucky’s cutest dog in the championship
This is it: The championship round of our Herald-Leader poll to crown the cutest dog in Kentucky culminates this week in a contest between two adorable canines.
Who will be our champion? Lilly, a Corgi puppy who loves to splash in puddles, or Carl, a stately Siberian husky/poodle mix who’s best friends with a Kentucky mayor?
The result will ultimately be decided by our subscribers, who can vote as many times as they like in the poll below. If the votes from last week’s Final Four round are any indication, Carl is the underdog, with 871 votes compared to Lilly’s 2,530. Still, every dog has his day, and this contest is far from over.
Regardless of the outcome, we want to thank our readers and subscribers for participating. Our quest to find Kentucky’s cutest canine began weeks ago when we put out a call to our readers to submit their furry friends for the challenge, and subscribers have helped us narrow the field since.
Previously, our search for Kentucky’s cutest cat led us to crown Lexington feline Millie, a rescue with a unique story, as our reigning cat champion.
To help you decide how to vote in the this week’s poll, here’s a little more about each dog competitor.
