A lucky Kentuckian has a lottery ticket worth ‘$25,000 for life.’ Where it sold
A winning Lucky for Life lottery ticket was sold at a Kroger location in Louisville, meaning the purchaser is entitled to $25,000 a year for life, or the game’s $390,000 cash option.
The Kentucky Lottery announced in a news release Wednesday the ticket was sold at the Kroger grocery store as 12450 LaGrange Road in Louisville.
The person who bought the ticket matched the first five numbers pulled during the June 17 drawing, but failed to match the Lucky Ball. That still lands the winner the game’s second-place prize of $25,000 a year, the lottery said.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday night drawing were 4, 7, 28, 36 and 46, with a Lucky Ball of 2.
Per the lottery, this Lucky for Life prize has a minimum payout of 20 years, but the winner could also opt for the $390,000 cash option.
