KY has another Powerball winner. 4 tickets remain unclaimed from $1.8B jackpot run
While they missed the jackpot from Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, one lucky Kentucky player holds a winning ticket worth $50,000.
According to a Kentucky Lottery news release, the ticket for the Oct. 4 drawing sold at a Thorntons gas station located at 10515 Preston Highway in Louisville. The winning ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball, meaning it won the game’s third-place prize.
The winning numbers for the Saturday night drawing were 3, 7, 47, 67 and 68, with a Powerball of 2.
If you’re the lucky owner of this ticket, the Kentucky Lottery advises you to sign the back, store it in a safe place and claim the prize within 180 days from the drawing.
You’ll also need to make a trip to Kentucky Lottery headquarters in downtown Louisville. The address is 1011 West Main St., and you can contact the lottery at 1-877-789-4532 to make an appointment.
No player snagged the jackpot from the Oct. 4 Powerball drawing, meaning it has now rolled over to an estimated $207 million. The next drawing is set to take place at 11 p.m. Eastern Monday, Oct. 6.
