Who has power? See the latest outages from Kentucky Utilities, Blue Grass Energy and more

If you’re in the dark and wondering how many of your neighbors are too, we’ve got some information on that.

Early Thursday, the National Weather Service office in Louisville was forecasting “damaging ice accumulations” overnight and into Thursday, bringing hazardous travel conditions and the potential for power outages.

Below are outage maps for the Lexington area, including one from Kentucky Utilities Co., and links to find maps for Blue Grass Energy and multiple Kentucky electric cooperatives.

As of 10:35 p.m. Friday, KU was reporting just 71 customers remaining without power in Kentucky. Blue Grass was reporting none. Other cooperatives serving the western part of the state indicated 3,444 members still experiencing an outage.

To see this map on the KU website, click here. Customers can report a power outage by texting “OUTAGE” to 454358, calling 800-981-0600, by logging into your online account or with KU’s mobile app.

Blue Grass Energy and other co-ops

Blue Grass Energy is reporting outages via map here. Members can report an outage online or call 888-655-4243.

For other electrical co-ops serving Kentucky, find the Kentucky Electric Cooperatives map here. Members must report outages directly to their co-op.
