Kudos to Take Back Cheapside

Thank you so much for the article about DeBraun Thomas and the Take Back Cheapside movement. In a world where we seem to be surrounded by conflict, name-calling and lack of respect, DeBraun and Take Back Cheapside have shown us another way.

Doing the research and patiently and persistently sharing their case won them respect and credibility. May we all learn from them how to be better citizens.

May Cheapside become a sacred space where we can go to remember those who suffered there. May we draw strength from them to better meet our own struggles and courage to work for a world where respect, equality and kindness prevail.
