The Lexington Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com are proud to announce the winner of the 42nd annual Kentucky Sports Figure of the Year Award this morning.
Watch the video above to see who came out on top in a vote of 143 sports media members from across Kentucky.
The top three finalists for the 2022 award were former University of Kentucky basketball star Rhyne Howard, former UK track and field standout Abby Steiner and current Wildcats hoops icon Oscar Tshiebwe.
