The latest wave of Pop! Vinyl figures licensed under the NBA were announced on Monday. Three former University of Kentucky stars will have their likenesses represented in the new wave, set for release this fall.
Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves) and John Wall (Washington Wizards) are part of the 14-figure wave, which were revealed on PopVinyls.com, a collector’s website.
There have now been four former UK players turned into Pop! Vinyls, which are collectible figures that highlight characters from hundreds of entertainment brands and franchises. Rajon Rondo is the only ex-Cat previously represented in the series.
Also featured in the new wave are: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks), Kevin Durant (Golden State Warriors), James Harden (Houston Rockets), Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio Spurs), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Chris Paul (Houston Rockets), Kristaps Porzingis (New York Knicks), Isaiah Thomas (Boston Celtics) and Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors). DeMar DeRozan (Toronto Raptors) is listed as a retail exclusive at Grosnor, a collectibles retailer based in Canada.
