The 12th-ranked University of Kentucky men’s basketball team defeated the No. 8 University of Miami 95-73 Tuesday night as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge in Rupp Arena.
The Wildcats made 37 of 62 shots from the field (59.7%), 9 of 21 from 3-point range (42.9%) and 12 of 17 from the free-throw line (70.6%) during the nonconference win.
The Hurricanes connected on 26 of 59 from the field (44.1%), 5 of 19 3-pointers (26.3%) and 16 of 21 foul shots (76.2%).
