The eighth-ranked University of Kentucky men’s basketball team defeated Mississippi State 90-77 in Rupp Arena in Lexington on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats made 30 of 54 shots from the field (55.6%), 7 of 23 from 3-point range (30.4%) and 23 of 27 from the free-throw line (85.2%) during the Southeastern Conference victory.
The Bulldogs connected on 31 of 69 from the field (44.9%), 9 of 27 3-pointers (33.3%) and 6 of 10 foul shots (60%).
