The 17th-ranked University of Kentucky men’s basketball team was defeated by Gonzaga 89-85 in Rupp Arena on Saturday.
The Wildcats made 28 of 61 shots from the field (45.9%), 6 of 17 from 3-point range (35.3%) and 23 of 28 from the free-throw line (82.1%) during the nonconference loss.
The Bulldogs connected on 32 of 68 from the field (47.1%), 4 of 18 3-pointers (22.2%) and 21 of 24 foul shots (87.5%).
