The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team played Oakland University in an NCAA Tournament round-of-64 game in Pittsburgh on Thursday night. The South Region No. 3 seed Wildcats were defeated by the No. 14 Golden Grizzlies 80-76.

The stunning loss ended Kentucky’s 2023-24 season with a 23-10 record.
