Kentucky men’s basketball vs. Loyola: Get live updates, stats from Rupp Arena

Mark Pope and his Kentucky men’s basketball team will look to wrap up a sour week on a sweet note Friday, when Loyola (Maryland) visits Rupp Arena for a 7 p.m. tipoff.

UK (3-2) is coming off an 83-66 loss Tuesday to Michigan State at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It was the second time in a week that the Wildcats were humbled in a marquee matchup, following last week’s 96-88 loss at Louisville.

It’s reasonable to expect UK will bounce back against the Greyhounds (2-4), but the vibes around the Kentucky program aren’t likely to get better with another win against an overmatched opponent.
