Kentucky basketball at Auburn: Get live updates, stats as Cats take on Tigers

The Kentucky men’s basketball team needs a win on the road Saturday.

Probably not as badly as its host needs one.

Auburn enters Saturday’s 8:30 p.m. ET game at Neville Arena on a five-game losing streak. The Tigers haven’t won since a Jan. 28 home win against Texas.

But four of those five consecutive losses – road games against Tennessee and Arkansas and home tilts with Alabama and Vanderbilt – have come against top-tier SEC teams. The outlier was a Wednesday night loss at struggling Mississippi State.

Kentucky guard Denzel Aberdeen popped up on the Wildcats’ preliminary availability report Friday night, but he’s been given the all clear and will suit up for Mark Pope’s team Saturday.
