University of Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops met with the media at noon Monday to discuss this Saturday’s home opener against Eastern Kentucky University at Kroger Field.

The Wildcats (1-0) opened the season Saturday with a 24-17 victory at Southern Mississippi. Eastern Kentucky (0-1) opened with a 31-17 loss at Western Kentucky on Saturday.

Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky will kick off at noon Saturday at Kroger Field. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
