The University of Kentucky football team was defeated by the Tennessee Volunteers 33-27 at Kroger Field in Lexington on Saturday in a Southeastern Conference matchup of border rivals.
The Wildcats are now 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the SEC after suffering their third straight defeat. Tennessee improved to 6-2 overall and 3-2 in league play.
Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Nov. 4, when it visits Mississippi State in Starkville, Mississippi.
