The University of Kentucky football team defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs 24-3 at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi, on Saturday in a Southeastern Conference matchup.

The Wildcats are now 6-3 overall and 3-3 in the SEC after stopping a three-game losing streak and securing bowl eligibility. Mississippi State fell to 4-5 overall and 1-5 in league play.

Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Nov. 11, when it hosts eighth-ranked Alabama at Kroger Field.
