Want discounted UK football, volleyball tickets? 250Lex just made them available

It may only be mid-August, but 250Lex is kicking off football season with a special deal.

As part of the ongoing celebration of Lexington’s 250th anniversary, the 250Lex Commission announced Thursday it would provide discounted tickets to select University of Kentucky games next month.

September’s theme during the year-long celebration of all things Lexington is sports. As part of next month’s events, UK Athletics will offer special ticket deals for three UK football games and four UK volleyball games.

“UK Athletics is a great community partner, and we thank them for helping us celebrate Sports Month,” Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton said. “This is a great opportunity to cheer on our hometown teams and celebrate Lexington’s 250th anniversary.”

Starting August 14, using the discount, fans will be able to purchase tickets for the August 30 football game against Toledo and the Sept. 13 football game against Eastern Michigan for $25 each. Tickets for the Sept. 6 football game against Ole Miss will be available for purchase at $50 each.

For volleyball fans, tickets for the games on Sept. 14, 20, 24 and 26 at Memorial Coliseum will be $7.16 each.

UK Athletics also said all soccer matches at the Bell Soccer Complex, both men’s and women’s, will be free this year.

Tickets are available on the website https://www.gofevo.com/group/250LEXTicketOffers. The tickets are only available online, are only available prior to the events and are based on availability.
