247Sports launched its basketball recruiting rankings for the class of 2024 this week, and it should come as no surprise that Naas Cunningham was at the top of that list.

Cunningham — a 6-foot-7 small forward from New Jersey — was already ranked No. 1 in the class by ESPN and Rivals.com, and he’s quickly establishing himself as the top player in his recruiting group. “His positional size, long arms, athleticism, and early signs of a tremendous basketball frame jump out immediately,” 247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi wrote about Cunningham. “Even better, he’s got the overall skill to match his tremendous physical gifts.”

Duke and UCLA have already extended scholarship offers, and Kentucky is among the schools that have expressed heavy early interest in the star recruit. Cunningham, who is teammates with major UK/Duke target Mackenzie Mgbako, is certainly going to be a player to pay close attention to moving forward.
