The Kentucky Wildcats extended another basketball scholarship offer for the 2023 class Sunday, delivering the honor to Aaron Bradshaw, one of the top post players in the group of rising high school seniors.

Bradshaw — a 7-footer from New Jersey — plays for Camden High School, the team that also features major UK target DJ Wagner, who is the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 composite rankings. Bradshaw is No. 22 nationally on that list, and he’s a player that Kentucky’s coaches have been watching for a while now.

He took official visits to Louisiana State and Oklahoma State last year, while Louisville’s new coaching staff is also expected to show major interest in his recruitment. Bradshaw also plays Nike league ball alongside Wagner with the New Jersey Scholars, a program led by former U of L star Pervis Ellison.

The Scholars were one of the first teams that John Calipari watched to start the first live recruiting period of the spring this past weekend, and he extended the UK scholarship offer to Bradshaw the following day. The 7-footer averaged 14.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 blocked shots per game over the weekend, going 14-for-16 from the foul line. He nearly recorded a triple-double in the first game that Calipari watched Saturday morning.
