2022’s Kentucky Mr. Football? Fan poll has its say

Who should win the 2022 Mr. Football award for Kentucky high school football’s top senior player?

Our Kentucky.com fan poll let you make your favorites known and Betsy Layne’s Reese Music came out on top in a poll that generated 118,326 votes.

The Bobcats’ running back had a sensational senior campaign that included 1,935 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns, although Betsy Layne’s season ended last week in the first round of the playoffs.

Check out the names and stats from our story on some of the leading candidates.

This poll closed on Nov. 11.

The actual vote on Kentucky’s two Mr. Football awards by the media and the state’s high school coaches, respectively, will take place later this year.
