Fans make their pick for 2024’s Kentucky high school Mr. Football
Who should win the 2024 Mr. Football award for Kentucky’s top high school senior player?
Fans voting in our Kentucky.com poll have made their pick.
Congratulations to Betsy Layne’s Andrew McCutcheon, a running back/linebacker who won out a spirited race with Estill County’s Jax Niece and a host of other hopefuls.
This season, McCutcheon racked up 2,157 yards and 29 TDs rushing, had 214 yards and 4 TDs receiving and recorded 61 tackles. He finished his career with 4,089 yards, 56 TDs rushing, 586 yards, 8 TDs receiving along with 242 tackles and 1 sack.
Now that the fans have had their say, it will be up to the coaches as to who will win this year’s KFCA Mr. Football award. That announcement is expected in mid-December.
Thanks to all for voting!
