Here’s the 2025 Lexington All-City Boys Soccer Team

The Lexington Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com are proud to present the 2025 All-City High School Boys Soccer Teams as voted on by the nine coaches of Lexington’s varsity KHSAA programs.

Henry Clay’s Connor Taylor earned Lexington’s boys soccer player of the year honors.

Taylor, a senior midfielder, scored 12 goals with seven assists for the Blue Devils to help lead them to a 42nd District championship and runner-up finish in the 11th Region Tournament. He received five top player votes from the city’s coaches.

Bryan Station senior goalkeeper Luke Majors received the other four top nods. His Defenders won the 11th Region championship against Henry Clay and have reached Tuesday’s state tournament semifinals.

Other first-team honorees were Bryan Station’s Joaquin Guerrant and Rafael Pimentel, Henry Clay’s Jose Flores and Shukuru Hamisi, Lafayette’s Max Jacobs and Rylan Chau, Lexington Catholic’s James Barnett, and Paul Laurence Dunbar’s Diego Martinez and Joshue Casas.

Players were nominated and voted on by the city’s coaches, who ranked their first- and second-team choices. Each team got five nominees. Twenty-two points were allotted to their player of the year, 21 to the next player, etc. Per tradition, coaches do not vote for their own players in the final tally.
