Rating the State: A change at No. 1, plus 3 teams move into boys’ top 10

This week’s Rating the State for boys’ high school basketball in Kentucky, released by Dave Cantrall on Jan. 25, has Covington Catholic leading the top-25 teams in the state, followed by John Hardin, Ballard, South Oldham and McCracken County.

New to the top 25 this week is Jeffersontown.
