High School Basketball

Rating the State: A big shake-up in girls’ top 25, but Sacred Heart’s still No. 1

This week’s Rating the State for girls’ high school basketball in Kentucky, released by Dave Cantrall on Jan. 26, has Sacred Heart leading the top 25 teams in the state, followed by Bullitt East, Ryle and a tie between Simon Kenton and Mercy.

New to the top 25 this week is Southwestern and Graves County.

Sacred Heart and No. 25 Ashland Blazer are the only teams to hold their rankings from last week.

Region-by-region rankings follow the top 25.
