Cantrall’s ratings: A new No. 1 boys’ team, but it’s a tight race at the top (Feb. 28)
It’s a tight race at the top, and it’s Elizabethtown leading the way this week in Dave Cantrall’s Rating the State for boys’ high school basketball in Kentucky. Undefeated Lexington Catholic is second, just 0.3 points behind in the ratings.
St. Henry moved up five spots to fifth after defeating last week’s top team, Covington Catholic, this past week.
A scheduled matchup this Saturday between Lexington Catholic and No. 6 North Laurel, also undefeated, will likely shake up the top five again next Sunday.
