Cantrall’s ratings: Girls’ top 10 reshuffles after pair of losses by former No. 1 team (Feb. 28)
Ryle jumped up eight spots to No. 1 in this week’s edition of Dave Cantrall’s Rating the State for girls’ high school basketball in Kentucky. Dixie Heights is second, followed by Marshall County and Bethlethem.
There were plenty of changes throughout the top 25. No. 1 Anderson County lost twice and dropped to fifth. One of those losses was to Boyd County, but a defeat earlier in the week against Russell led to the Lions’ drop from third to 12th. Russell took advantage and moved into the top 25 at 20th.
