Post times were announced Friday for all 22 races during the 2022 Breeders’ Cup World Championships weekend.
The two-day event, which will award more than $31 million in purses, is scheduled to be run Nov. 4-5 at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington.
The third edition of the Breeders’ Cup in Lexington in the 39 years of the World Championships will be televised or streamed nationally by NBC, USA, Peacock and FanDuel TV (formerly known as TVG).
A total of 14 Breeders’ Cup Championships races will be contested over the course of both days.
Ten races will be held on Future Stars Friday, including all five Breeders’ Cup races for 2-year-olds. Friday’s five-race undercard will begin with Race No. 1 at 11:55 a.m.
Race No. 6 will kick off the Breeders’ Cup slate on Friday, with a post time of 3 p.m. Friday’s 10th and final race has a post time of 5:40 p.m.
On Saturday, the undercard will open with Race No. 1 at 10:30 a.m. Nine straight Breeders’ Cup contests will get underway with Race No. 3 at 11:50 a.m. The Breeders’ Cup action will conclude with race No. 11, the $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic, at 5:40 p.m. Saturday will conclude with an undercard race at 6:20 p.m.
USA Network will televise the first day of Breeders’ Cup weekend from 2-6 p.m. On Saturday, USA coverage runs from 1-3:30 p.m. Racing moves to NBC and Peacock in the 3:30-6 p.m. window. FanDuel TV will show 21 of the 22 weekend races
The official race order and wagering menu for both days of the Breeders’ Cup will be announced on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
