Small forward

• Kentucky’s Collin Chandler (11.8 points per game, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists) had 12 points, two rebounds, an assist and two steals in the Wildcats’ disappointing 67-64 loss to Norh Carolina Tuesday night. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound sophomore from Farmington, Utah, missed both his 3-point attempts vs. UNC and is now 6 of 14 from behind the arc in UK’s past three games.

• Gonzaga is the fourth team Tyon Grant Foster (12. 1 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 49.4% FGs) has played for as a collegian — Kansas, DePaul and Grand Canyon were the first three. The 6-7, 220-pound product of Kansas City, Kansas, tied for the team lead with 14 points in the Zags’ 101-61 loss to Michigan in the Players Era Festival championship last week.

Advantage: Gonzaga

Power forward

• Kentucky sophomore Kam Williams (5 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 43.2% FGs) was a 41.2% 3-point shooter last season for Tulane. So far this year, the 6-8, 205-pound product of Lafayette, Louisiana, has not been dialed in from behind the arc, as he has made only 6 of 25 trey tries (24%). In the loss to North Carolina, Williams had two points, three rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes.

• Gonzaga star Graham Ike (15 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 2.4 apg, 48.9% FGs) has a history of playing well vs. UK. Two seasons ago, when he Zags beat the Cats 89-85 at Rupp Arena, the 6-9, 250-pound Ike had 23 points in 24 minutes of playing time. Last season in Kentucky’s 90-89 overtime win in Seattle, Ike went for 28 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.

In the loss to North Carolina, Aberdeen, a 6-5, 195-pound senior from Orlando, Florida, played 35 minutes. He finished with 10 points, four rebounds and four assists but made only 4 of 13 shots and missed all three of his 3-point attempts.
