Kentucky basketball player notes through UK’s 83-76 win at West Virginia on Jan. 27, 2018:

Kevin Knox: Was spectacular at West Virginia, making 11 of 17 shots, including five of eight from three-point range and seven-of-eight from the foul line for 34 points. Sixth game this season the freshman forward has scored 20-or-more points. Season-high in shots made, three-pointers made and free throws made. Knox is now averaging 15.5 points per game. He’s shooting 35.4 percent from three-point range. Has made nine-of-12 threes over last two games.

Hamidou Diallo: Scored 13 points in win at West Virginia. That snapped a stretch of three consecutive single-figure scoring games. Made his only three-point attempt at WVU. Played 25 minutes in Morgantown. Diallo’s minutes have not been affected much by the return of Jarred Vanderbilt. Diallo was averaging 28.7 minutes pre-Vanderbit. He’s averaged 27 minutes since Vanderbilt’s return.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Scored six points with five assists and four turnovers on Saturday. Also blocked two shots. Currently suffering from a bit of a slump from three-point range. Is 0-for-4 over last two games and is two-of-seven over last four games. Has not had an offensive rebound since Texas A&M game on Jan. 9. Leads team in assists at 4.4 per game.

PJ Washington: Played just 11 minutes Saturday because of a knee contusion. That was a season-low in minutes. He had two points and two rebounds in those minutes. The two points matched his season-low against Kansas in Chicago on Nov. 14. Had a season-high 22 points with three steals and six rebounds against Mississippi State on Jan. 23.

Jarred Vanderbilt: Has added another dimension since his return on Jan. 16 from a foot injury. Over four games, the freshman has had trouble scoring. He’s just five-of-22 from the floor. But he’s averaging 7.3 rebounds, including 11 boards in 11 minutes at West Virginia. Seven of those were offensive rebounds. In Saturday’s second half, UK had 13 offensive rebounds to four defensive rebounds for West Virginia. So far, Vanderbilt has 29 rebounds in 49 minutes. Projected over 40 minutes, that would be 23.7 rebounds per game.

Nick Richards: After just one rebound and zero points in 11 minutes against Mississippi State, Richards bounced back with nine points and eight rebounds in 20 minutes against West Virginia center Sagaba Konate. If you throw out the MSU game, the freshman center has 29 points and 21 rebounds versus South Carolina, Florida and the Mountaineers. On season, Richards is averaging 6.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

Quade Green: Even with a 15-point halftime deficit at WVU, Green’s two made three-pointers were a silver lining. Had not made a three-point shot in the previous two games since returning from back strain. Scored eight points with four assists and four turnovers at West Virginia. Played 27 minutes, most since his return from injury.

Wenyen Gabriel: The sophomore continues to be a force on the boards. Had nine rebounds, including five offensive rebounds in Saturday’s win. Now averaging 5.9 rebounds per game, which leads team among those who have played 18-or-more games. If you extend it over 40 minutes, Gabriel would be averaging 10.3 rebounds per game. He also had three assists and three blocked shots Saturday.

Sacha Killeya-Jones: Went a perfect two-for-two from the floor at West Virginia, including a pretty jumper from the circle. Over last five games, the sophomore is 10-of-12 from the field. Both misses came when he went one-of-three against Mississippi State. Did not have a rebound in 11 minutes at WVU. First game all season without a rebound.

Tai Wynyard: Has not played since the Georgia game on Jan. 31 because of back troubles. Played a season-high 12 minutes, scoring four points and six rebounds against Monmouth on Dec. 9 in New York. Also scored four points against UIC.

Brad Calipari: Has not played since the loss at South Carolina on Jan. 6. Has yet to score this season. His season high in minutes is six against Monmouth on Dec. 9 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Jonny David: Has not played since the 90-61 rout of Louisville on Dec. 29. Has not scored this season. Season high in minutes is two against UIC on Nov. 26.

Dillon Pulliam: Has not played since that win over Louisville on Dec. 29. Has played three minutes on the season without scoring.
