With Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson both off the injury report, Kentucky men’s basketball travels to the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman to face the Oklahoma Sooners on Wednesday night.
Tipoff is set for 9 p.m. on the SEC Network with Roy Philpot and Richard Hendrix on the broadcast.

Scouting report: Oklahoma
Oklahoma is 17-10 overall and 4-10 in the SEC after a 93-87 win over Mississippi State last Saturday in Norman. Coach Porter Moser’s Sooners are ranked No. 49 in KenPom’s adjusted overall efficiency rankings. Oklahoma is No. 32 in adjusted offensive efficiency and 73rd in adjusted defensive efficiency.
The Sooners are No. 51 in the NCAA NET rankings. They are 5-8 in Quad 1 games. OU was 13-0 in nonconference games.
Freshman guard Jeremiah Fears is the one to watch. Fears scored 27 points and dished 10 assists in the Sooners’ win over Mississippi State, which snapped a five-game Oklahoma losing streak. The 6-foot-4 guard is averaging 15.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

Scouting report: Kentucky
Kentucky is 18-9 overall and 7-7 in the SEC after a 96-83 loss at Alabama last Saturday. Coach Mark Pope’s team is ranked No. 16 in KenPom’s adjusted overall efficiency rankings. The Wildcats are ranked No. 5 in adjusted offensive efficiency and No. 61 in adjusted defensive efficiency.
UK is No. 14 in the NCAA NET rankings. The Cats are 8-8 in Quad 1 games, but just 2-5 in SEC road games.
The Cats have starting guards Lamont Butler (shoulder) and Jaxson Robinson (wrist) back from injuries. Both were not listed on the team’s injury report on Wednesday.
Wednesday is also a homecoming game for UK guard Otega Oweh. The Cats’ leading scorer at 15.7 points per game played two seasons for Oklahoma before transferring to Kentucky prior to this season.
