College basketball on television: Louisville basketball opens ACC play
It’s been a long week for Louisville since the Cardinals’ 75-73 loss at Kentucky way back on Dec. 26, but Rick Pitino’s team swings into ACC action on Sunday by playing host to Wake Forest at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
Danny Manning’s Demon Deacons are off to a 9-3 start. Richmond, Vanderbilt (in Maui) and Xavier are the three teams that have beaten Wake Forest. And Manning’s team won 77-71 at LSU last time out.
Meanwhile, No. 8 Arizona travels to Arizona State to face Bobby Hurley’s Sun Devils at 2 p.m. on Fox Sports 1. Arizona is 12-1. Arizona State, which lost at Rupp to Kentucky last month, is 10-3.
