Plenty of SEC games dot the Tuesday night college basketball television schedule, including a key one involving conference leader Texas A&M.

At 7 p.m. on ESPNU, Mississippi State travels to Florida. The host Gators are coming off an 80-71 win at Ole Miss on Saturday, bumping Mike White’s team to 3-2 in league play. Freshman Kevaughn Allen scored 27 points for Florida in the win. Mississippi State is still looking for its first SEC win under new coach Ben Howland. The Bulldogs are 0-4 after an 80-75 home loss to Tennessee on Saturday.

At 7 p.m. on the SEC Network, Ole Miss tries to rebound from that Florida loss by playing host to South Carolina. The Rebels are on a two-game losing streak and 2-3 in league play. South Carolina shook off its dreadful performance in a 73-50 loss at Alabama to handle Missouri 81-72 in Columbis on Saturday. The Gamecocks are now 3-1 in the SEC.

At 9 p.m. on the SEC Network, Auburn tries to build on the momentum from its 75-70 win over Kentucky last Saturday when the Tigers take on visiting Alabama. Kareem Canty scored 26 points in Auburn’s win over the Cats, which snapped an 18-game losing streak to UK. Alabama is 1-3 in league play under first-year coach Avery Johnson.

At 9 p.m. on ESPN, Ben Simmons and LSU travel to conference-leader Texas A&M. Simmons scored 16 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in LSU’s win over visiting Arkansas on Saturday. The Tigers are 4-1 in the conference. Texas A&M trounced Georgia 79-45 in Athens last Saturday to go 5-0 in the conference. The Aggies have won eight straight games overall and are now ranked ninth in the Associated Press poll.
